In WeChat, Zalo, WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber and LINE: turn on translation for the chat once. Press Enter and the translation appears with its Vietnamese meaning for you to check; press Enter again to send. BeeKey only sends when you say so.

The sentence goes over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to the BeeKey server for translation, and the result comes back to your chat box.

Clear answers about typing Vietnamese, data security and using one account on several devices.
No conflict at all. On computers (macOS and Windows), you keep typing Vietnamese with Unikey, EVKey or the default input method as usual. BeeKey only activates when you press the translate key (Enter). On iPhone and Android, the BeeKey keyboard has Vietnamese Telex typing built in.
You always get to check before sending. With Check before sending on (the default on Mac and Windows), the first Enter shows the translation with a Vietnamese back-translation right in the chat box. Only when you are happy with it and press Enter a second time (or click the Send button) is the message sent.
BeeKey automatically locks business figures: every number, unit price, percentage, date, order code (#A102) and link keeps 100% of its original value; only the thousands separator is adjusted to your partner's language.
Yes. Just sign in with the same email on your Mac, Windows PC, iPhone and Android phone. Your daily translation quota and your glossary are synced automatically across all devices.
No. BeeKey turns off automatically when the cursor is in a password or security field. When you translate, the sentence only travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection to be translated and is then immediately cleared from temporary memory; the server only adds 1 to your daily translation count.
Use BeeKey's Undo right after translating: your original Vietnamese comes back, as long as you haven't sent or edited the translation. How to do it on each device is on the Download page.
No copy and paste back and forth: BeeKey translates right in the chat box you are typing in, in a business tone, keeps numbers, prices and codes unchanged, and uses your own glossary (product names, forms of address).

Shortcuts work in any text box: email, browser, Lark, Teams… Enter-to-translate works in WeChat, Zalo, WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber and LINE. On Mac and Windows a floating BK button appears in chat and email apps.
On Mac and Windows, type Vietnamese in the Zalo or WeChat chat box and press Enter: the translation appears for you to check, and it is sent only when you press Enter again. For messages your partner sends in Chinese, English, Japanese or Korean, use the read feature to see them in Vietnamese.
On Mac and Windows, BeeKey is a background app: you keep typing with your usual Vietnamese input method, and BeeKey translates when you press Enter or a shortcut. On iPhone and Android, BeeKey is a keyboard with a Translate key (Android: coming soon).
